Transfer or decal - memories of childhood fake tattoos
Using decals has been a passion of mine since my undergraduate days back in 1992. The process of wetting and sliding them from their paper backing, reminds me of a childhood glee in fake tattoos. I rarely use the decals complete but cut and alter, juxtaposing images to create new often darker narratives from the original content.
